Nina, Maria, Sina and I went to a little University dance performance. The night started out as an adventure because we had to find the Auditorium. Finding the college is easy; it’s down the street a 10 minute walk. But then we had to find the library, (relatively easy: some girls told us to stay on the path we were on), and then from there the auditorio. That was harder because there was no one there. So, we decided to go left. Then we realized that was wrong, so we tried to cut across the damp grass, and ended up in a place where going down a muddy hill was the only option. Luckily, Sina gave me a hand, because I have a remarkable talent for falling.
Eventually, we found our way to the auditorio. The show itself was, well, a college production. Only one thing was dreadful: a 30 minute skit of a talk show, of which I could only understand a bit over half when I was still trying. But, even if I were fluent, I still think it would have been awful because. 30 minute. Skit. Of a talk show. There were some things that were amazing, like the salsa cumbiando, and others that were bad. And there was a lot that was imperfect but incredibly charming.
