In better news, the final box of my china cabinet came today I and put it together all by myself! (Do you know what a pain it is to try to hang a door all by yourself? Blech.) Then I dumped half of the styrofoam in the dumpster down the alley and swept up as much of the styrofoam bits as I could. I have a feeling I will be picking styrofoam bits out of everything for quite a while. Kind of like ‘s glitter when she was Glinda in high school. I’m also setting up the Tungsten T5 I just got today, and also has inspired me to get all of my music on MP3s (for which, to be perfectly honest, I probably need a new computer). After I’m done setting up the T5, I am going to bed, as there is work to be done in the morning. However, I may detour to a bath or a hammock; I’ve had a headache all night and one of those two things may help.

(Not so) fun WWII fact: Didja know that there were nurses coming off the boats at D-Day, too? Nobody was allowed to say anything about them or photograph them because They knew that the folks at home would be outraged at the idea of their little girls getting shot at.

Also, I should be posting a poll at some point for dates for high tea. I need to call sassy tea to see what the largest group they can manage is. If you have any preferred dates, let me know.

So, I’m working all weekend, and I was wondering if anybody who wants to help has time this Friday evening. Otherwise, it’ll have to wait until the weekend of the 6th/7th. I believe there are other things planned that weekend, but then again I have been entirely unable to keep track of what’s going on this summer. Gee, I wonder why? :/

So, anyway, I need help unpacking once my shipment gets here. I also need help deciding where I’m going to put all my art. I will feed whoever helps me. Even better, I’m pretty sure I packed enough bubble wrap for popping for anyone who wants to come help me make my home more homey.

I was thinking since we don’t have enough volunteer soldiers for Iraq, maybe we should send volunteer holly instead. We could send the ivy too, but that’s not in the least bit painful.

It’s a good thing that I know that all projects take twice as long as you plan. Rargh.

So here’s my offer: I will buy this showerhead for up to five people (in Western Washington) who want to reduce their water consumption in light of the raising rates and impending water shortage. I will install it or another new water-use reducing showerhead for as many western washington people as want me to. I’ve got the pipe wrench and the teflon tape, so I’m all set to go.
